George Tambassis

Inaugural WPC President
George was WPC's first President, and provided exceptional leadership and guidance in the Council's formative years, playing a major role in representing community pharmacy in developed health economies.

Kos Sclavos

Kos’ outstanding service to the profession has been recognised through numerous honours, including being appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in 2017 for significant contributions to pharmacy, education, and community service.

As former President of the USA's National Community Pharmacists Association and CEO of the Cascadia Pharmacy Group, Jeff holds more than four decades of pharmacy experience, and has contributed extensively to the advancement of community pharmacy globally.

John’s distinguished service as National President of The Pharmacy Guild of Australia and his enduring leadership within the profession have made a lasting impact on both national and international pharmacy.

World Pharmacy Council Alumni Membership is a unique opportunity for individuals with a history of strong engagement with the WPC or Pharmintercom to maintain their connection with our global mission. This membership, through a formal nominations and approval process, acknowledges commitment to fostering excellence in community pharmacy on an international scale through their involvement with the WPC and/or Pharmintercom and provides a way to remain part of the international community pharmacy collaboration.

The alumni membership confers the award of Fellow of the World Pharmacy Council and the use of the post-nominal letters FWPC.
